Tasty Take Away
Frites & Sausages
Frite Haus is an authentic Belgian Frite and Sausage restaurant. The menu may strike you as a bit Belgian, a bit German, with a couple of other countries thrown in for good measure - but it's all delicious.
This tasty concept is the brainchild of Padraic Hayden, who also presides over Camden Kitchen a few streets away. Having lived in Brussels, Hayden saw a gap in Dublin for a place serving big, satisfying German-style sausages and proper Belgian frites.
It's all done with an Irish twist, and the carefully-constructed menu includes triple cooked house made frites/chips/fries, craft sauces (nothing out of an industrial-sized plastic bottle in this kitchen) and house made condiments. The sausages are of the highest quality, locally sourced from artisan butchers.
To wash it down, choose from a selection of draft and bottled Continental beers, or perhaps some wine. And for afters? Belgian waffles - of course.
A full Breakfast Menu is served until noon daily, and there are Lunch Specials available Monday to Friday for €10. Brunch Menu served Saturday and Sunday from 9.00-16.00.
