The Dublin Legends road ride is a thrilling cycling tour through the Dublin Mountains, perfect for experienced riders. It features challenging climbs, breathtaking descents, and panoramic views of Dublin and the Irish Sea. Riders are equipped with high-quality carbon fibre bikes from Trek and guided by local experts. Along the way, cyclists will discover hidden gems of the area, from scenic valleys to quiet villages. This is an ideal experience for those looking to push their limits while enjoying an unforgettable adventure in one of Ireland's most scenic regions. The tours start with a meet and greet at our Dublin base at Ticknock Mountain Bike Trail, where you discuss the planned route with your guide over a complimentary barista coffee. Your guide will chat about the history of the landscape you cycle through while the pace of the tour is determined by your level of fitness, cycling experience and whether you prefer a leisure pace or training ride! There will be plenty of rest stops and photograph opportunities. We might even visit Irelands highest Pub, Johnny Fox’s, along the route of dramatic historical landscapes, such as The Hell Fire Club with its megalithic tombs dating back to 3500BC, Upper and lower Lough Bray, the Powerscourt Waterfall and you can even cycle along the old military roads connecting Dublin to Wicklow. Due to the hilly nature of the area, this tour is suitable for keen road cyclists only.
